Felintra Oral Solution (60 ml) is a veterinary antifungal preparation for cats containing Itraconazole 10 mg/ml. It offers broad-spectrum activity against fungi and yeasts, particularly effective for treating dermatophytosis caused by Microsporum canis. The formulation includes cyclodextrin to improve Itraconazole’s water solubility, enhancing tissue penetration, bioavailability, and residual effect while maintaining a high safety margin. The typical dosage is 5 mg/kg (0.5 ml/kg) once daily, often administered as a pulse regimen for dermatophyte infection.
